The T-series Weel Saw is a skid steer attachment for cutting asphalt, concrete, and compacted surfaces. The T200 is a dry cut saw that operates on standard flow (low flow) skid steers. Optional wheel widths for the T200 are 1” (one inch) and 2” (two inch). Maximum cutting depth to 8” (8 inches). Manual side shift feature. The little T200 weighs 600 pounds and calls for 10-18 gpm and 2,320 – 3,480 psi. For a low-flow dry cut wheel saw, this T200 gives you awesome production with low wear cost. GECON Attachments wheel saws use bits (“picks”) that are very common in the cutting, milling, grinding industries.
The T300 Wheel Saw requires high flow from the skid steer and is a larger, stronger version of the T200 with more features and options available. The T300 weighs 1,350 lbs and needs 16-37 gpm and 2,320 – 4,350 psi. The side shift feature is hydraulic on the T300. An optional trench clearing device is also hydraulic. The trench cleaner cleans and moves the debris off to the side for a clean working area. T300’s can cut up to 12” (12 inches). A SIMEX-patented bonus, the PerformerTM gauge, comes standard from GECON Attachments. This easy-to-see indicator takes the guesswork out of productivity and efficiency. Once the PerformerTM is set, it takes into consideration the resistance from the depth and material being cut, along with the pressures and flows the skid can offer and determines the best possible operating rate. The display makes it plain as day how hard – or how fast – the operator can push for maximum production while minimizing strain.
Both the T200 and T300 models have significantly closed wheel housings for maximum safety and protection. The housing also allows for an adaptable vacuum system to be bolted on. Both Wheel Saws have adapter holes to mount spacer skis so you only have to cut to a desired depth and not the full depth the saw is capable of. This saves time and wear for even more production. T200 & T300 dry cut wheel saws leave the perfect edge for excellent adhesion and sealing – not too rough and not too smooth on the cut edges.
The T200 or T300 with a 1” (one-inch) wheel is the market’s superstar for fiber optic trenching (or micro trenching).
